RAVENS FACE MAJOR QUARTERBACK CRISIS! LAMAR JACKSON RULED OUT AS ROOKIE PREPARES FOR FIRST NFL START!
The Baltimore Ravens are facing a major quarterback challenge ahead of Thursday Night Football against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson has been ruled out because of an injury. Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is also unavailable, leaving undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano preparing for his first NFL start. Baltimore enters the nationally televised matchup looking to reverse a three-game losing streak.
The Ravens are reportedly finalizing a trade with the Arizona Cardinals to acquire veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett. However, the agreement is not expected to be completed in time for Thursday's game, forcing Baltimore to rely on Fagnano against Jacksonville.
The Ravens enter the contest with a 4–4 record, while the Jaguars stand at 5–2. With a crucial stretch of the season approaching, Baltimore's ability to overcome its quarterback injuries could have significant implications for its playoff hopes.
Thursday Night Football begins at 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
